Questions to ask before booking.

Every center has its own services, policies and booking terms. The checklist below is designed to help families ask direct questions and write down the answers. It does not assume that any particular service is included at Dr. Salwa's Ayurvedic Postnatal Center or elsewhere.

Package, room and total cost

• Which package name, duration and room option are available for the dates you need?
• What exactly is included in the quoted price, and what would cost extra?
• Is the quoted total for one person or more than one occupant? Are there any taxes or deposits?
• What are the payment schedule, cancellation terms and rules for changing dates?
• Can the center share the selected option and its terms in writing?

The current website lists Standard and Premium stays of 15, 21 or 30 days, and Karkidaka options of 3, 5 or 7 days. Confirm current prices, availability and inclusions with the center before making a decision.

Daily arrangements and policies

• What are the arrival and departure times, and how should you confirm your arrival?
• Can a companion stay with you? What are the rules for visitors and family members?
• What meals or daily support are available, if any, and can dietary needs be discussed in advance?
• Which personal items are supplied, and which should you bring?
• Are there accessibility details, stairs or other practical features you should know about?

Care boundaries and coordination

Ask the center to describe what its staff do, who is responsible for each part of your care, and what is outside the center's role. Discuss your personal medical needs, prescriptions, follow-up plan and travel questions with your own qualified healthcare professional. Ask how the center communicates with your clinician if coordination is needed, and what the process is if you or your baby need urgent medical attention.
